The singer and her One Direction star boyfriend Liam Payne are set to welcome their first child into the world in March.
Rumours have been rife that Cheryl was in labour – with some even believing that she’d actually given birth – but the star reportedly still has a few weeks to go.
“The rumour mill has been rife that the birth is imminent and there have even been claims she’s in labour already but that’s not the case at all,” a source told The Sun.
“She’s still a little way off and has been enjoying the build-up as well as focusing on her charity announcement which is a really big deal for her.
“It was important for her to continue working throughout her pregnancy, Cheryl’s Trust was her top priority.”
Earlier today, the star broke her Twitter silence to share some happy news with her fans.
The star hasn’t tweeted since December, last year, but took to the social media site this morning to make an announcement. The Geordie star told her followers that after working hard for five years, she’s finally found a site in Newcastle where a Prince’s Trust centre can be opened.
The charity aims to help young people, aged 13 to 30, who are unemployed or struggling at school, transform their lives.
